Rock base is made out of OSB for added support. Layers of EPS 2" foam and Simalfa were added to create a foam 'block' to carve from.

Muslin Wrapped Moon Rocks

Once the foam 'blocks' were carved, they were wrapped in muslin and coated with a watered down wood glue mixture.
